Following months of negative press, there's still life in Santa Anita: The Pasadena Star News is reporting that new owners of the Santa Anita Park will meet with Rick Caruso tomorrow to discuss the developer's proposed retail plan for the site. "We are hopeful that we can design something that works financially and for the long-term viability of racing at Santa Anita," Dennis Mills, vice chairman and CEO of MI Developments. [PSN]
