Green Hive Smoked Out Downtown

New, 1 comment

The Green Hive was supposed to be a sustainable building resource center for planners, builders, and architects, housed in a new Los Angeles Community College District building downtown. The founders "spent two years designing the future space, to the tune of more than $1 million in district money," according to the Daily Breeze, but in April they found out that the whole project wasn't particularly legal, since "even if it were considered an educational initiative [it] could not be funded by voter-approved bond money."
