West Hollywood's 1220 Art Lofts Hacks Last Units*

New, 3 comments

Back in February, 1220 Art Lofts re-emerged on the scene, coming back after disappearing due to some financial messiness that everyone is glad is over. Now 50 percent sold following a Price Chop last month* (the pricechop happened 30 days ago, sorry for the confusion). And what a zinger is in the listing for the units: "Best value in WeHo--Better than auction pricing." David Berg, real estate agent at 1220 N. Orange Grove, is pleased about sales at the building, but also writes: "The situation in West Hollywood is pretty bad. There are still close to 100 new construction condos on the market, and the majority of the developments have little or no sales. With that being said, we're the most aggressive priced new construction condos in West Hollywood, averaging $369/ft. Our lowest price unit available is $679,000 for 1872 sq/ft." He also states two new projects--one is on Harper near Sunset, and the other is on Detroit near Sunset--are coming up. Other buildings on the scene include everything from 1200 Sweeter, well as to the WeHo adjacent 855 Croft.
