A reader tipped us off to this Silver Lake rental offered by Better Dwellings, and he thinks that name isn't the only thing reminiscent of flipper all-stars Better Shelter, asking, "Maybe this is the start of a Pinkberry-esque run of modern design flippers/income property remodelers?" The listing says the Better Dwellings people "took this retro 50's building down to the bare bones and rebuilt it with modern conveniences and an earth-friendly approach." There are eight two bedroom, one bathroom units in the building. Rent is $1,555 with the first month free, and pets are welcome, but don't go strolling in with a bad personality: "We carefully screen our tenants so that our communities have a cohesive vibe. We want you to make this your home and share it with neighbors who will become your friends."
