Sustainable transportation org EMBARQ thinks short videos can be a tool for change in urban planning and transportation and they're working on a series about local stories, like this one about the rebranding of Metro and the success of its in-house Creative Services department. They say "Los Angeles' Metro is doing something that no transit agency in the country has ever done: it's marketing its products and services as if it were a private company bent on turning a profit." They also say that the rebrand has increased discretionary riders (people who could drive if they wanted) from 22 to 36 percent and that Creative Services "was instrumental in the success of Measure R."
