The Daily Breeze reported earlier this week that the Terranea Resort, run by a subsidiary of developer Lowe Enterprises, has repaid consulting fees owed to Rancho Palos Verdes. The topic of the fees had caused drama between the two parties after the resort told the city it wasn't responsible for the fees, which were derived from a hotel tax scheme that never materialized. But according to the paper, the developer "continues to face dozens of lawsuits related to the project's unpaid bills." [Daily Breeze]
