Via Councilman Eric Garcetti's twitter feed: "With 2000 building trade workers rallying for accelerating our Measure R money from DC." Garcetti's trying to help along Mayor Villaraigosa's 30/10 plan, which calls for accelerating numerous transit lines and getting them built in one decade rather than three. In other Eric news, the Los Angeles Times reported last night on the recently released financial records of LA politicos and they said Garcetti "collected about $300,000 from his financial stake in a Beverly Hills beauty salon." UPDATE: Wait, the Times is the Beauty School Dropout. Garcetti only earned between $10,000 and $100,000 from the salon.
