Danish architect Christian Bay-Jorgensen, you crazy bastard, we salute you, for being the one to suggest the idea we all had without even knowing we had it: turn the Hollywood Sign into a hotel. Bay-Jorgensen, 28, wants to double the size of the letters and build them out from the back. He told the Daily News yesterday, "I know people are scared...I know they are afraid this idea will turn it into Disneyland." But that's just because they don't understand him like we do. He believes, "This area should be more public...I think this could be something that could improve the experience of the LA resident, to let them see the sign in a new way."
