Groucho Marx's Wallace Neff Sells $4 Million Short of Asking

New, 9 comments

It took a few chops, but Groucho Marx's old house in the Trousdale Estates has sold and the magic number is $8.8 million. The house, designed by Wallace Neff, was listed in August at $12.9 million, cut to $11.5 million in October, to $10.5 million in December, and had a final chop down to $9.85 million in January before finally selling in last month. The house and the landscaping have both been remodeled since their Groucho days.
