According to both project architect Richard Keating, and real estate agent Brian Adler, Beverly West, the 21-story tower at Club View Drive and Wilshire Boulevard, should be finished by the end of the summer. And it's about time. If we'd just like to see this thing wrap up, what must the neighbors be thinking? (The neighbor directly across the way street is thinking they want to get out--they've been trying to sell their Club View home for some time. $1.899 million for a four-bedroom if anyone is interested.) Anyway, after Fifield sold the project to Emaar in 2007, the 35-unit tower has seen some ups and downs--and more recently, a slowdown in construction amid a management shuffle, according to Adler. Prices for the units are still expected to start at $2 million, but the units will be left partly unfinished so buyers can pick out their own flooring, tiling, and whatever else they want.
