PASADENA: Hometown Pasadena offers up a history on the residences of Charlotte Perkins Gilman (1860-1935), who wrote her famous short story, “The Yellow Wallpaper,” in the above cottage at Orange Grove Boulevard and Arroyo Terrace in Pasadena. Additionally, there's a shot of her home at 239 South Catalina Avenue, where she died after taking a "lethal dose of chloroform." Good times. [Hometown Pasadena]
LINCOLN HEIGHTS: Lee Homes' Alta Lofts, a transformation of Fuller Lofts, has been oddly quiet as construction wraps up, but today an email blast informed everyone that an opening party is scheduled for March 20th. Prices are also available; the email said to call the sales office if you're interested in pricing, but hopefully we'll get those soon. [Curbed InBox]
