Fruits and Flowers Nearing Freedom

New, 5 comments

The Food & Flowers Freedom Act, which clears up the 1946 ordinance that's been keeping fruits and flowers intended for sale out of the city's backyards, was passed by the Planning Commission yesterday, according to LAist. It goes to the City Council next, and if passed, means glorious freedom for the fruits and flowers (like broccoli!) of LA. If approved, you could start selling the stuff. [LAist, previously]
