Ground broke in January on Cedars-Sinai's Adavanced Health Sciences Pavilion, designed by global firm HOK. The 11 story building will rise at the corner of San Vicente and Gracie Allen, and house both clinical care and scientific research, plus six levels of parking, and a plaza level with an education center, cafe, pharmacy, blood lab, and imaging facilities. A pedestrian bridge will link up the new building to the rest of the campus. It's expected to open in the summer of 2013, according to its web site.
