Yesterday, a construction photo of Siren Studios' soon-to-come new space on Sunset emerged thanks to a reader quite irked by the building's size and apparent lack of windows. Siren's Eva Goicochea tried to allay fears of creeping ugliness by stating in the comments that, "Just to clarify, that is as tall as it's going to get folks! [four floors]. We're actually expanding our studios and the outcome will be both visually beautiful and beneficial to the neighborhood... p.s. There are windows. GIANT windows." And you can see for yourself, thanks to this rendering. Not to scare height-sensitive folks, but this building is a runt compared to Thom Mayne's Emerson College branch and especially the planned Columbia Square project.
