"All the elements are here to restore this 2BR, 1BA storybook English cottage to its glory days," says the listing. Let's all take a minute to imagine the glory days of this 1928 house in Echo Park. Back? Ok, the house is right next to Elysian Park, and they are not joking about that "storybook" label--it has a "faux drawbridge" and moat. Plus leaded and stained glass windows, "many of its 1920's details," fireplace, eat-in kitchen, and a fish pond. However, it is a fixer. The house went on the market in November, first asking $699,000 and eventually getting chopped to $649,000. According to Property Shark, 24-year-old Ryan Ross, the former guitarist for young people band Panic! at the Disco, bought the house last month for $665,000.
