MOCA's appointment last month of director Jeffrey Deitch was controversial, but another hopeful would have been a total PR disaster. This late entrant into the Downfall meme category (new subtitles put to the 2004 Hitler's last days movie) starts with an explanation of how to get from MOCA to the Geffen Contemporary (including a note about the "decent sushi" near the Geffen), and just ramps up from there, going after everyone from "Westside" trustees to Lady Gaga. Hitler could have even been quoted in this weekend's New York Times story on Eli Broad, ranting "Eli can take his $30 million and shove it!!!" in reference to Broad's MOCA bailout.
