The Associated Press reports the biggest sale of last year in California was this Bel-Air home that went for $26.5 million in July. The home was referenced on Curbed because it hit the market in June for a whopping $45 million. The listing is still up on superagent Kurt Rappaport's site, and if there's anything remarkable about the home, it's that the home is, uh, very unremarkable. More about million dollar sales throughout the state: "MDA DataQuick said Thursday that more than 18,600 homes sold for at least $1 million last year. That's down 24 percent from 2008 and down 66 percent from its peak in 2005."
