BMW announced last night that Jeff Koons will be the next artist to design a car for their Art Car Series. The program began in 1975 and has included cars from David Hockney and fellow Broad favorite Roy Lichtenstein. Koons's car will debut later this year, and by then we might know where Eli Broad will put it when he inevitably buys it. [NYT]
