WeHo's Sierra Bonita Getting Skin, 5900 Wilshire Heart Lights Tonight

New, 20 comments

WEST HOLLYWOOD: Behold the skin! The latest shot of the long-watched Patrick Tighe-designed project on Santa Monica Blvd. When finished this development will offer 42 one-bedroom apartments for the disabled. Taken early this morning when the light was a tad too gray, but we'll be back to take more photos as this thing progresses. [Curbed Staff]

MID-WILSHIRE: Hey, romantics, look towards the sky. Via in InBox: "Just a head’s up that 5900 Wilshire – the Variety building in Miracle Mile – is supporting the American Heart Associations’ Cities Go Red event tonight by lighting up the building’s north façade with a 13-story heart to support the non-profit’s Go Red for Women campaign. The heart on the building should be visible across Los Angeles, but especially to visitors at The Grove tonight." It will only remain lit until daybreak tomorrow. [Curbed InBox]
