Who knew it'd be Huizar day, but it is! In an editorial in the LA Times today, City Councilmember José Huizar punts to the state to clear up some of the murky issues surrounding medical marijuana regulation so that local regulators can do a better job. He writes that one of the biggest issues is "the wide discretion and relative immunity that physicians have in recommending medical marijuana to patients. When most of us have a medical issue, we don't look through the pages of alternative weeklies to find a physician." [LAT]
