On this past weekend's episode of The Simpsons, Homer won the lottery and hired band Coldplay to perform for him and Bart. And the Springfield concert venue looks awfully familiar, even if the city hasn't found an office supplies retailer to buy the lifetime naming rights yet. (And perhaps it's a nod to LA's ongoing budget crisis?) Following December's episode in which Huell Howser played himself, The Simpsons writers sure seem to be into the local flavor this season.
