Eli Broad's magical mystery museum has made the Downtown News' biannual (used to be quarterly, if we're not mistaken) Downtown Development list. That doesn't mean Broad has definitely scrapped the idea of putting his new art center on the Westside, but it's a good sign for those who want it on Grand Avenue. Of course, many things on the development list are purely aspirational--there's still a prominent mention and rendering of the Park Fifth project. The newspaper says a definite decision on the 2,000-piece museum will be made in the spring. [Downtown News]
