LOS ANGELES: Via Fishbowl LA, a visual of what the city might look like if we don't get the whole sign ordinance thing ironed out soon. This is the trailer for "Logorama", an Oscar-nominated short film by French collective H5 that has "spectacular car chases, an intense hostage crisis, [and] wild animals rampaging through the city." Characters include Ronald McDonald, Big Boy, and Pringles Original (played by director David Fincher!), and as you can see it takes place in a mythical Los Angeles all covered in logos. All of the Oscar shorts will be screened at the Nuart Theatre this Friday, and at the Egyptian on March 5. [Logorama]
