Thanks again to Ron Kaye LA's camerawork, here is Mayor Villaraigosa's turn on All My Children (yesterday we saw Councilmember Eric Garcetti). Today we learn why on earth LA politicians are hanging out in a small Pennsylvania town: it's for the jobs conference! The mayor is "trying to bring business to Los Angeles," he tells his friend Erica Kane, whom he hasn't seen since the Green Cities Ball. Are these going to be real or fictional jobs he's bringing to the city? Because right about now would be a good time to make up for those 2,000 cuts.
