Despite the fact the whole story blew up before the official announcement from The Trust for Public Land came out, the Hollywood sign is being covered up today as part of the Trust's attempt to buy the nearby land, according to a rep for the group. So look towards the hills. Guesses on what the sign will say? UPDATE: It'll say "Save the Peak."
