If the Edge's plans to build that development near Malibu fall through, perhaps the guitar player will want to look into putting up his collection of homes on this eight-acre site at 11101 Chalon Road in Bel-Air. It came on the market in mid-December 2008 and has undergone a hefty chop, falling to $49.5 million. As first noted last year, the owner has obviously done the work of clearing the land, apparently via Daisy cutter, a move which gives the new buyer the "opportunity to build an entirely personal masterpiece from the ground up." The listing also notes that subdivision of the parcel is allowed.
