On the cover of yesterday's real estate advertising insert in the Los Angeles Times, the listing for this home at 2700 Glendower, designed by William L. Skidmore in 1924, touts it as a "classic and rare Egyptian Revival Residence" that "affords remarkable 2-way views of both Griffith Park, and the city." While the description is easy to understand, getting the layout of the home, and what it looks like from the street is a bit harder. Its asking $1.499 million, a chunk lower than its last listed sale price of $1.707 million in 2007.
