Vicki Abelson's Montrose condominium, site of a monthly literary salon, is now a "hotbed of literary energy," reports the Glendale News-Press. The group of "accomplished writers and singers share their latest work in front of a welcoming and often raucous group of 30 or so women who may or may not be writers themselves." Called Women Who Write, the event is so popular it's attracted celebrities from Marlee Matlin to Michael O’Keefe, and draws a crowd from Calabasas to Hollywood. [GNP]
