Is an asshat still an asshat if it's not on a corner? We're saying yes because there can't be a better name for the stucco thing that's been tacked onto the front of this otherwise unremarkable "contractor's dream" in Winnetka. The little bell hung inside evokes perhaps an old Spanish mission or a Taco Bell, but mostly the whole thing looks like an eerily good place for a sniper's nest, if a sniper ever had to take someone out on a very particular stretch of a suburban street in the middle of the Valley. A residential reimagining of the asshat is yours for $374,900.
