Good news for artsy types in search of a live/work space: a few spots are opening up in the country's largest artist colony, the Brewery. According to the Brewery's website, a 4,000-square-foot loft on Main Street will be available as of January 1, followed by a 1,870-square-foot space coming available January 15. Craigslist also currently has a posting for a four-month-long Brewery sublet. On offer between February and June is a 1,600-square-foot three-level studio that, its listing boasts, "was one of the featured locations in the 1987 film Less Than Zero." (We're guessing it was the setting for Jami Gertz's ludicrous photo shoot.) If you're a starving artist, however, you're outta luck--the lofts rent for $3,900/month, $2,950/month, and $2,000/month, respectively.
