A cleanup is currently underway on a sidewalk on Sunset in Silver Lake (try saying it without a lisp) which has been covered in debris since a landslide last February, reports The Eastsider LA. There was more destruction after last week's endless rains, but now city crews are clearing the mess and shoring up the hillsides as part of a $37,000 project. Caveat: work should be done in two days barring more heavy rain. And tonight and tomorrow it's supposed to pour. [Eastsider LA]
