The Eastsider LA turns us on to this brilliant idea by the Homegrown Evolution blog--rebranding a stretch of Echo Park HaFo SaFo, in honor of the neighborhood icon known as the Happy Foot/Sad Foot sign. Actually, blogger Kelly Coyne heard the name from other locals who didn't know whether to say they lived in Silver Lake or Echo Park (saying "Edendale" elicited blank stares).
