FilmLA, the city and county's film permitting contractor, is breaking out the heavy duty bandages in hopes of stemming the area's shooting hemorrhage. Yesterday it debuted a $135,000 marketing campaign called "Film Works," which according to FilmLA's president has three goals: "We seek to promote filming in Los Angeles, thank area neighborhoods for hosting filming and renew local appreciation for filming's economic benefits."
