Adriana Caselotti was just a teenager when she voiced the character of Snow White in Walt Disney's 1936 animated classic, but as this 1986 interview with Caselotti illustrates, she continued to play the role offscreen for the rest of her life. That will come as no surprise to anyone familiar with Caselotti's former home on Larchmont Avenue, which features a wishing well and dwarf bridge in the front yard. However, while the actress's residence, which hit the market a few weeks ago, looks like a woodman's cottage on the outside, its interior is straight out of Trader Vic's. According to the listing, the corner-lot home has "soaring ceilings and gorgeous hardwood floors throughout. Open entry, living, bar, dining and kitchen in an amazing 56-foot-wide space. 2 bedrooms with 2.5 vintage tiled baths." There's also a wet bar with "burnished monkey pod wood bar-top," whatever that is. Asking price for the property, which sits on a 12,740-square-foot lot, is $1.499 million.
Incidentally, the Cahuenga pass duplex once owned by Caselotti is still wishing for a buyer at $795,000.
