Timed to this month's U.S. DVD release of the Banksy/street artist documentary "Exit Through the Gift Shop," an outtake has found its way to the internet, this one via the Wooster Collective art blog. Here we see French artist Invader--outfitted like Spy v. Spy--bombing the Hollywood Sign with his old-school video game stickers in late 1999 (he's affixing the letter D, and will eventually festoon all nine letters). Park services and cops catch up with the wily artist and his camera guy, but seem none too bothered about the whole trespassing situation--imagine it would be a different story in this post-2001 world (right Ke$ha?).
