One of the last big strip hotels to open for quite some time, the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, which officially debuts Dec 15th, is offering a sneak peak by way of a video interview with interior architect David Rockwell. In other news, the city's real estate development and tourism-dependent economy was just ranked among the worst in the world, according to the Las Vegas Sun, which reports that at #146, Vegas is faring just a tad better than Dublin (150), Dubai (149), and Thessaloniki, Greece (147). On the upside, shoe company Zappos, which is really just a model for planning departments, just announced it may be moving its corporate headquarters to Vegas.
