Inverted Fountain
In anticipation of last year's UCLA-USC football game, USC kids splashed the bronze Bruins sculpture with red and yellow oil-based paint, the first incident between the two schools in three years, according to officials. How do you follow a bear attack? Over the weekend, red dye was dumped into three campus fountains-- the Inverted Fountain, the Macgowan Fountain in the Sculpture Garden, and the Shapiro Fountain near Royce Hall. Nicholas Stone, senior facility planner for north campus operations says in a press release: "Every year around this time, I expect something will happen."
