Today's Craigslist trawl yields this pedigreed rental, Pasadena's Laing House. Though the ad's headline calls it a "Mid Century Landmark" and name-drops "Frank Lloyd," the home was actually built in 1935 by Wright-influenced architect Harwell Hamilton Harris. Located in the historic Poppy Peak district, the house features two bedrooms, two baths, 150 feet of built-in bookshelves, French doors, hardwood floors, and mountain views. The ad also notes that the residence "is fully furnished and the furniture throughout the house is imported from Denmark and was custom designed for the home." Monthly rent is $4,450.
