One languishing downtown eyesore down, nine more to go. The Downtown News reports there's finally movement on renovating the long-shuttered Hall of Justice, the downtown building damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Tomorrow, the County Board of Supervisors is expected to approve a $244.2 million renovation of the building, a project paid for by $850 million in federal bond financing (other county buildings are also being renovated with the money). Architecture firm AC Martin will work on the building, according to the News. Image via the LA Conservancy which has more on the building. [Downtown News]
