The city council in Arcadia ok'd a change to their general plan to allow mixed-use developments around the future Gold Line stop (rendering pictured) at First Avenue and Santa Clara Street, reports the Pasadena Star-News. Strictly commercial previously, the area can now have condos and apartments above the retail spaces, and height limits for buildings rise to 45 feet from 40. Does someone have a complaint? Natch. Developer Henry Nunez tells PSN the new plan doesn't go far-enough density-wise. [PSN]
