A fancy new fountain near Figueroa and San Fernando Road hails the eventual arrival of Confluence Park "near the spot where the Los Angeles River and the Arroyo Seco meet," reports the Eastsider LA. The Santa Monica Recreation & Conservation Authority calls it an "iconic gateway" to Cypress Park. [Eastsider LA]
