Rabid Bat Country

New, 4 comments

Yikes. Twenty-one rabid bats have been found in Los Angeles County in 2010, more than twice the annual average, and officials have no idea why. (The popularity of Twilight?) Reports the LA Times: "most of these wild animals have been found in and around residential homes. One person was bitten while attempting to rehabilitate a sick bat." Keep your pets close, people.
