Is This What Your New Downtown Target Will Look Like?

Blogger and realtor Brigham Yen went on today's Downtown Center Business Improvement District (DCBID) tour, an event at the downtown Sheraton that showed off renderings of developer Brookfield Properties' new planned Target at 7th and Fig. He's posted photos of renderings on the Skyscraper Forum, and writes that a rep from Charles Dunn told the group the entire mall will be reconfigured and the 'circular jungle gym' will be removed. He also reports the "entire center will have a very modern feel, clean minimalism." Anyone feeling like this looks a bit like parts of Westfield Century City?
