Animals are getting all the best oceanfront property lately--the pets have plans for Rancho Palos Verdes, and now marine mammals are getting a hospital and convalescent center on Dockweiler State Beach in Playa del Rey. David Hertz, architect for the 747-sourced Wing House, is designing the Marine Mammal Care Center, which will include a 5,500 square foot building and a "series of pools and pens [that] will unfurl over about 20,000 feet," according to the Huffington Post.
