Despite objections voiced by neighbors at an earlier meeting, the City Council approved the Luxe @ 375 project on La Cienega on Wednesday, reports the Beverly Press. A rep for the developer NMS says the project, which will rise on the old Acapulco restaurant (it's currently being used by other businesses), says construction could start early next year. In the meantime, the rep the parking lot at the old restaurant will be used as a Christmas tree lot. [Park La Brea News]
