Rockstar Games has released the first trailer of in-game footage for LA Noire, the game set in a near-exact recreation of 1940s Los Angeles. The extra "e" is a mystery, but the gameplay "blends action, detection and complex storytelling and draws players into an open-ended challenge to solve a series of gruesome murders." LA Noire is set to be released on PlayStation and XBox in the spring. Now let's follow Ken Cosgrove Aaron Staton back in time, deep into the uncanny valley, and through the seedy streets of 1940s Downtown (a letter in the trailer is dated January 5 1947).
