Lots of moving and shaking and cuchi-cuchi-ing in the elephant world today. Tina and Jewel moved into their new digs at the Los Angeles Zoo and exchanged "grunts, squeaks and chirps" with male resident Billy. Meanwhile, down behind the Orange Curtain, singer/entertainer Charo is not pleased with the elephant rides offered at the Santa Ana Zoo. She wrote a letter on behalf of PETA saying "The Santa Ana Zoo's promotion of elephant rides is reckless, and the liability to the city is very real."
