The LA Weekly is offended that City Councilmember Tom LaBonge wants to name the Santa Monica Boulevard-Highland Avenue intersection "Steve McQueen Square." They write that "It may be one of the least cool places in all of Hollywood," and "We wouldn't be surprised if there's a big development project planned for that site and it's a half-baked attempt to spruce up the neighborhood." Yep, between McQueen and the upcoming Walgreens, this area sure is getting fancy. [LAW]
