Monarch's Jons replacement, Casden's Movietown Plaza
Your wrap of three big West Hollywood projects: First, the planning commission has worked out some subdivision issues regarding two Monarch-developed projects on La Brea. reports the WeHo News. We're referencing the eagerly-anticipated Carl's Jr. and Jons killers, at La Brea and Santa Monica Blvd and La Brea and Fountain, respectively. At a meeting last week, the Jons complex (shown above) got clearance, while the Carl's Jr complex got the green-light in late September. All this subdivision work is to make the projects available for both rental and for-sale units (though the units will likely go rental in the end). Meanwhile, WeHo Patch reports on another big WeHo project, Casden's Movie Town Plaza on Santa Monica Boulevard (pictured). There's no timeline there either, but Trader Joe's will stay in the space and continue to operate during construction, according to Patch.
