There's a city fight a-brewin' over trash in the San Gabriel Valley, where Irwindale wants to put a garbage sorting and recycling facility on a 17 acre site right at its border with Baldwin Park. A draft environmental impact report was completed in 2009, "but a consultant hired by Baldwin Park to review the document said the report was inadequate and should be rewritten and redistributed," according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. Irwindale is readying a new report, but Baldwin Park says they're opposed no matter what. [SGVT]
